Alfredo Arrién Paredes

Alfredo Arrién Paredes is a Spanish criminal lawyer. He earned his law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2007 and went on to complete a master’s degree in Criminal Law through the Madrid Bar Association.

He is the founder and legal director of Paredes y Asociados, a Madrid-based law firm specialising in criminal law and litigation. His practice focuses on criminal litigation, where he acts both for defendants and for private prosecutors in complex and high-profile proceedings.

He has also provided legal services to public institutions and international organisations, including Seseña City Council and the embassies of Libya, Nigeria and Bolivia, and has taught Legal Practice at Camilo José Cela University.

His experience includes involvement in a number of prominent criminal proceedings in Spain, among them a private prosecution in a homicide case and work connected with a major ongoing judicial investigation into alleged corruption and influence-peddling. He also appears regularly on Spanish television as a legal commentator, analysing criminal proceedings, high-profile cases and other judicial affairs.
